Like everyone else, I was glued to a live broadcast of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding this morning. Mum and I had a load of packing to do for our impending road trip, therefore, we kept on glancing at the tv screen while stuffing our cases.

Oh my god, she has lost weight! She had always been very trim but now she looked decidedly underweight. I could imagine all the unpleasantness and heartache caused by her evil half sister and her thoughtless father in the run-up to the wedding must have had stressed her out badly. Oh Meghan, please eat tons of your amazing lemon & elderflower cake and plump yourself up again!

Congratulations! Wish you two all the happiness 🙂

Sounds delicious!

So Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake won’t be a traditional fruitcake but a layered lemon and elderflower cake? Oh wow, the cake sounds heavenly! I hope the baker will share her recipe someday soon so we can imagine how it is like to be a guest of the royal wedding…

Pinch me!

I need someone to pinch my cheek so I feel more awake. Despite the world around me is buzzing, I feel rather tired and sleepy. Oh how I wish if I were on a hammock by a poolside of a villa in the French Riviera right now instead of in a chair of my hairdresser!

Probably, I have been loading my tray too much recently, I thought. My mum is due to arrive tomorrow afternoon and it involved lots of preparation. I was working hard to organise a road trip with her to the south of France and also tidying and scrubbing here and there so my place would look more presentable to her. The moment is almost upon me and I can hardly wait to see her big smile at the arrival of the Heathrow.

The big day for Harry and Meghan is almost here too…

I feel very sorry for the bride-to-be though. What a mess she has to put up with before her special day! Some people really can’t a bigger person, can they? I personally think she should walk by herself. She is a one fine grown-up individual and she doesn’t need anyone to usher her. A bride walking the aisle alone may look odd to some traditionalists but it is the 21st century and I am absolutely fine with it!

Grumpy grumpy

Is this to do with what is going on in the world? I feel grumpy and miserable most of the time recently.

First of all, I just hate to see that Emperor with Small Hands bragging about his so-called “achievements” and lecturing us about how to restore peace of the world by making a deal. Ok, he has got three Americans back from North Korean and praised Kim Jong Un as a decent man. But Kim is the man who took those three men as a hostage in the first place?

And that baboon, Boris Johnson, he managed to make the Nobel Prize so cheap by suggesting Donald Trump should receive one. Excuse me? The prize is not for you to dangle as a carrot to seduce that Twitter-manic in the White House.

And that Kim Kardashian being described by Evening Standard as the most influential person of the present world. What has she done? Other than taking countless selfies?

And the Brexit? And the plastic pollution? And…, the list goes on and on!

What kind of madness are we facing?

The only news which makes me smile nowadays is the imminent royal wedding..,

I hope the weather will improve for their special day…
